BIOFOS-T wsp is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and
mycoplasma in the digestive and respiratory tract in poultry and pigs.

COMPOSITION

Contains per g:

Fosfomycin calcium                                            200 mg
Tylosin tartrate                                                    100 mg
Fructose 1.6 Diphosphate Tri-sodium            180 mg

INDICATIONS

BIOFOS-T wsp is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and
mycoplasma in the digestive and respiratory tract in poultry and pigs. BIOFOS-T wsp in poultry is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by E. Coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and in the treatment of
infectious Coryza, Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), Avian cholera, Listeriosis, Pseudomonosis and diseases caused
by fosfomycin and / or tylosin susceptible organisms. In pigs, BIOFOS-T wsp is indicated for the treatment of infections
caused by Mycoplasma (swine enzootic pneumonia), dysentery caused by Serpulina hyodysenteriae and for the control of
Porcine Proliferative Enteropathies (PPE) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration via drinking water.
Poultry (broilers): Use amount of BIOFOS-T wsp as stated in table in 100 litres of drinking water during 3 – 5 days.
This is equivalent to 80 mg of fosfomycin per kg bodyweight: (0 – 7 Age: 80 g) – (8 – 14 Age: 100 g) – (15 – 21 Age: 120 g) – (22
– 28 Age: 140 g) – (29 – 35 Age: 160 g) – (36 – 42 Age: 180 g).
Pigs: Use amount of BIOFOS-T wsp as stated in table in 100 litres of drinking water during 3 – 5 days. This is equivalent to
30 mg of fosfomycin per kg bodyweight: (0 – 25 Age: 120 g) – (26 – 50 Age: 140 g)
– (51 – 75 Age: 170 g) – (76 – 100 Age: 200 g).
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat : 3 days.
